It's time for instrumentalists and singers to shine!

“Heart Strings” is a song about love where the protagonist expresses his innermost feelings through a series of questions, wondering if his affections are felt by the person whom the words are expressed towards. 

We hope that its heartfelt narrative centred on love will inspire you to participate in SYFplaysOn! 

SYFplaysON! is open to students in all MOE Primary and Secondary Schools, Junior Colleges, Millennia Institute and Special Education Schools. Each student can participate in more than one entry. Students from different schools may collaborate to submit a joint entry if they wish. You may participate individually or in a group of no more than 8. Video clips will be shortlisted and featured on the SYF social media pages based on: 

• Creativity: Your performance is creative in terms of visual presentation and musical performance. 
• Ensemble: Your performance is coordinated with the video stems. 
• Technique: Your performance demonstrates musical skills (i.e., pitch, rhythm, coordination, etc.). 
• Aesthetic appeal: Your performance is pleasing and captivating to watch.
